- Fight with ease. "Fable 2" pioneers a new combat system designed to allow players to truly master hand weapons such as swords and maces, ranged combat weapons such as bows and guns, and an entirely new magic system. These three disciplines, while very accessible, are also amazingly deep, and allow players to mix combat styles and become everything from master swordsman to skilled ranger to evil magic wielder, utilizing a single button on the Xbox 360 controller.
- A hero's best friend. This groundbreaking addition to the game is integral to the theme of unconditional love in "Fable 2." The canine companion will act as friend, compass and protector. Players mustmerely feed their pooch and he will love unconditionally, creating a bond that sets up emotion-filled journeys all throughout this magical world.
- Experience the world together. For the first time in the "Fable" series, gamers can experience the expansive and immersive world of "Fable 2" with friends, utilizing the new and exciting Dynamic Co-op Mode, bringing the long-awaited multiplayer function to the world of "Fable 2."
- Xbox LIVE Arcade mini-games earn major cash. Carbonated Games has partnered with Lionhead Studios Ltd. to bring an unparalleled experience to gamers through Xbox LIVE Arcade. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Peter Molyneux. Not because he's an evil individual, but he has the propensity to over exaggerate his games and not deliver the goods on the final product. While I wasn't a huge fan of Fable, I still enjoyed the game and soaked up as much of it as possible. With the impending release of Fable 2, I avoided much of the press releases and surrounded myself in a dark hole as to avoid the impending hype machine. I had no desire to play Fable 1.5 and originally had no intention to play the game, but was swayed by fellow gamers to give it a shot.
I'm glad I listened, as Fable 2 is truly, what Fable should have been. Lion Head has always been able to create intriguing games, but always seemed to miss the mark and while some ideas were novel, they seemed a bit more gimmicky. | First off let me state I LOVED Fable. However Fable II was a let down to me. First and fore most is the map. It's tucked away in your log area. It's no longer located in the upper right corner and once you get to it through the log menu, there is no way to interact with it. No zooming in & doesn't tell you what exit will lead you where. i think fable 2 is wonderfull with fun and some thinking to go on the way.
Lets start with the story. Decent story (no spoilers).If you had played the first fable this may be quite the same. | Ok first off I just want to say that the first fable was way better than fable 2. Even though fable 2 offered a better varitey of things to do in albion, but gameplay wise fable 1 pwns fable 2.
