I have never had any glitches or problems. I have dropped it twice from about 3 feet, and it still is working very well. I think this is a really good choice if you cannot afford the PS3. Even though there are better systems out there, I would recommend this system because it is reliable, cheap, very tough, and it has some of the best games on any system. It is also awesome that they redesigned this one, and that it is not so bulky, as the older versions of the PS2 were. This system has some awesome games, as well. It has a huge variety of shooter, fighting and sports games. It also is nice because it has new and old games on it. I would recommend this platform very highly!

I just got this new PS2 because my old fat one was freezing, skipping, and it took way too long to load. Design - The new design is great. It takes up less space, so that way you have more room to store your video games, Guitar Hero or Rock Band guitars (or drums), and your snazzy new Silver controller. Overall 10/10. I recently got the PS2, and think it's not perfect, but good For example, the sound is great, but the graphics are only okay. I would recommend this non-hardcore gamers. You need a memory card to save your progress, and a multitap to play multiplayer. I think, again, the Electronic Arts games are the best.
