Players will be able to take on the role of the characters from the film, getting behind the wheels of each character's signature vehicles to experience firsthand the film's high adrenaline, combative racing style. The car-fu style of action within the game will closely represent the action style being designed by the Wachowski brothers for the film itself as they lend direction and assets to the development team directly from their Berlin set. John Gaeta, a long time Wachowski collaborator and Co-VFX Supervisor on the Speed Racer film, is working with Sidhe and WBIE to assist in maintaining a close film-to-game aesthetic connection.

This was way more fun than I had anticipated. I borrowed it from a friend and am purchasing it from Gamestop right now.
The game uses the wii remote in a way no other non-nintendo game has.
Remember when you used to play racing games on the NES? I would twist and turn the game pad this way and that, or jerk it one direction or another. Well, that is how you play Speed Racer. Jerk lef...[More] |

| I'm a huge fan of Speed Racer, the cartoon, and I love a good racing game. Still I was very worried about purchasing this title.
